Position Summary:

Provides excellent customer service while serving and selling the highest quality foods
  • Give every customer immediate and undivided attention.
  • Follow through on all customer questions and requests.
  • Keep the register area clean and well stocked.
  • Be aware of new products and their placement.
  • Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
  • Answer telephones with proper etiquette when time permits.
  • Walk Produce department to facilitate product identification.
  • Operate cash register.
  • Collect payment for purchases and make change.
  • Notify the department manager when a cash pickup or change is needed.
  •  Count out and organize till at the end of the shift.
  •  Bag groceries and gather shopping carts.

Prior cashiering and grocery experience desired.  Possess great passion for food and awesome customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Can lift a minimum of 15 up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be passionate about people and great food.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other associates.
  • Must be self-motivated and solution-oriented.
  • Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department

Physical Requirements:
  • Exposure to temperature variations.
  • May walk and work on uneven surfaces.
  • Requires reaching above or below shoulder height.
  • Repetitive use of hands with grasping and fine manipulation.
  • May need to use a ladder or stool to reach product or supplies.
  • Repetitive stretching and lifting required.
  • Can lift a minimum of 15 up to 40 pounds.
