Native to rainforests, Vanda Orchids sit high on trees with their roots long and free. Originally only available for tropical zones due to specific care requirements, Vanda Orchids have now been specially developed and designed to thrive in an indoor setting. Beautiful as a hanging plant, or placed in a clear vase with the roots visible.
To care for hanging orchids, simply mist the roots once daily, in the morning, until they are completely soaked. If placed in a vase, submerge roots in water for 30 minutes, then drain completely. Water 2-3 times per week depending on indoor climate. Feed with a water soluble orchid fertilizer once every other week.
When flowering is finished, cut the stem 1-inch above the base stem and continue the same watering procedures. Your orchid will rebloom within 3-5 months depending on the variety and care it is given.
