ABOUT THE WINERY

Elk Cove Vineyards is one of the true standard-bearers of Oregon wine, founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell at a time when the Willamette Valley was still largely unproven. As the first vineyard planted in what is now the Yamhill‑Carlton AVA and a founding force in the region’s rise, Elk Cove stands firmly among Oregon’s pioneering wineries. Still family-owned and led by second-generation winemaker Adam Campbell, Elk Cove focuses on estate-grown Pinot Noir and cool-climate whites sourced from multiple hillside vineyards across the northern Willamette Valley.
