We love the trio of citrus in this healthy wintertime breakfast bowl with yogurt and honeycomb.

We love the trio of citrus in this healthy wintertime breakfast bowl with yogurt and honeycomb. Grapefruit is tart and bitter, blood oranges are juicy and sweet, and kumquats add a wonderful textural crunch to every bite. Not to mention, the various colors and sizes look stunning on the breakfast table. Of course, you can use any combination of citrus that you like.

Ingredients

  • 3, 16 oz containers Ellenos Vanilla Bean Yogurt
  • 1 large grapefruit, rinds cut and inner sliced
  • 2-3 blood oranges, rinds cut and inner sliced
  • ½ cup kumquats, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 1 bag Zupan’s granola
  • 1 container honeycomb, cut into 4 slices or sections
  • 4 tablespoons toasted pepita seeds

Preparation

  1. Start by adding yogurt to 4 bowls in the quantity of your choice. We recommend 1-2 cups!
  2. Top with citrus, granola, honeycomb and pepita seeds (1 tablespoon per). If you’d like, add a drizzle of honey from your pantry for extra sweetness. Enjoy!
