SUMMARY
This role supports the POS Coordinator by entering, organizing, and maintaining data in Excel for upload into our BRdata Point of Sale (POS) system. It also involves collaboration with merchandisers and vendors to create reports and set up new item sheets. While primarily based in our home office, occasional in-store visits are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Entering and transposing data accurately into Excel and other systems
Reviewing and correcting data to ensure consistency and accuracy
Supporting the POS team with data clarification and issue resolution
Maintaining organized digital files and assisting with report generation
Preparing new item setup sheets in Excel for POS uploads
Communicating with vendors regarding product information
Gathering product information in stores as needed
Learn basic working knowledge of BRdata to help cover stores in POS/Receiving if/when needed.
Provide light administrative support during downtime

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience using Microsoft Excel regularly in a work environment (required)
Prior data entry experience (preferred)
Familiarity with BRdata POS system is an advantage
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret business materials including industry publications, technical documentation, and regulations. Must communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Strong command of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and discounts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to identify issues, gather data, and make sound decisions based on facts and observations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to sit for extended periods, use hands for data entry, and communicate clearly. Occasional standing and walking during in-store visits. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primarily office-based with a moderate noise level and temperature. Occasional visits to store locations as needed.
