ABOUT THE WINERY

Nestled in Monterey County, Mer Soleil began thirty years ago with a drive down the California coast in search of the best land to plant Chardonnay. This family winery started by Chuck Wagner, Caymus Vineyards founder, is now led by his son Charlie Wagner. The passion and love for farming had been passed down through the generations and played a role in creating unforgettable wines in the Mer Soleil portfolio.
