New to our shelves for Ciao Italia, Dolci Sapori Frastuchella pistachio cream is a must try. This sweet nut paste made from Pistachios is delicious folded into cream and used to fill cannoli shells. This dessert is sure to impress!
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp Dolci Sapori Frastuchella pistachio cream
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 package cannoli shells
- ¼ cup hazelnuts (or nut of choice)
Preparation
- Using a stand or handheld mixer, add heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, pistachio cream and powdered sugar to a bowl, whip on medium-high speed until medium peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
- Spoon mixture to piping bag or zip lock bag. Cut a corner and begin piping cream into each side of the cannoli shells.
- Sprinkle each side of cream with hazelnuts, or nut of choice. Enjoy!
