Spicy Sweet Potato Hash

Add a punch to ordinary sweet potato hash with a combination of chili powder, paprika, and ground red pepper.


  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 t. paprika
  • ¾ t. chili powder
  • ½ t. salt
  • ¼ t. ground red pepper
  • 1⁄8 t. black pepper
  • 6½ C (about 2½ lbs.) sweet potatoes, peeled and diced


  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; whisk well. Add sweet potatoes; toss to coat.
  3. Arrange sweet potatoes in single layer on a large greased baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until browned, turning once.
