Introducing a reusable, washable, and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wrap. The Z Wrap is made with 100% cotton fabric, organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil & tree resin.
Created by Michelle Zimora a run-around mom who taught outdoor education before having kids. Zimora is passionate about making smart choices that are good for the environment and loves taking what’s around her and turning it into something beautiful and useful. In 2017, she took one of her favorite printed fabrics and coated it in a blend of organic beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. After several rounds of testing, she got the recipe right, her daughters went to school with their wrapped sandwiches, and Z Wrap was born.
Why the combination of beeswax, jojoba oil & tree resin? Beeswax is a natural wax made by honey bees. It has antifungal and antibacterial properties that help keep food fresh and clean. Beeswax is also waterproof and breathable, so it protects food from getting wet and keeps moisture in. Jojoba oil is antimicrobial and tree resin helps the Z Wrap stick to itself and other containers.
Perfect for wrapping bread, sandwiches, veggies, hard cheeses & more! You can even use Z Wrap as a container cover. Available in medium, large, and a 3 size multi-pack.
How to Wash Z Wraps:
- Lay your Z Wrap on a cutting board in the sink to make cleaning easier
- Wash your Z Wrap in cool water with mild dish soap and sponge or cloth
- Air Dry
- DO NOT use hot water, it will melt the wax
- Do not wring out your Z Wrap
