For our 17th Farm to Market beer, we’ve partnered with Ferment Brewing Company again for a second stout! Aged in rum barrels on imported bitter orange peels for notes of rich chocolate and spice.
The Farm to Market beer series began in 2015 to celebrate Zupan’s 40th Anniversary and throughout the years has featured exclusive bottlings created in partnership with local breweries including Breakside, Little Beast, Ex Novo & more. In November of 2020, we released our first collaboration with Ferment Brewing Company: an imperial stout aged in wine and whiskey barrels. This year we are releasing our second stout with the brewery, aged in rum barrels!
Farm to Market Beer Profile
- 11% ABV
- Tasting Notes: A nose of rich, roasted malts with a distinct aroma of rum barrels and orange peel. Upon tasting, notes of dark, wine-like chocolate, leather, blackstrap molasses and oak build and give way to warm citrus oils in a prolonged finish. Perfect to sip on by the fire on a cold night.
Ferment is a modern brewery that fuses traditional farmhouse techniques with a forward-thinking scientific approach.
