June Wine Specials, Vietti

Located in the heart of the Langhe hills, at the top of the village of Castiglione Falletto, the Vietti wine cellar is one of Italy's most historic wineries.

One of Italy’s most historic wineries, Vietti was founded in the late 1800s by Carlo Vietti in Piedmont Italy. Nestled in the heart of the Langhe hills, at the top of village Castiglione Falletto, Vietti has grown over the course of time and today includes some of the most highly-prized terroirs within the Barolo wine-growing area.

Now in its fourth generation, the Vietti brand is headed by Luca Currado and his wife Elena. Having been acquired by Krause Holdings in 2016 has since allowed Vietti to add a number of prized crus to the estate’s holdings and look to a future with new, stimulating prospects, all while maintaining the family approach for which the cellar has always been known.

Vietti labels are beautifully illustrated making them easily recognizable. Each grape variety is specially designed with original works inspired by the wine.
