Farm to Market Lager

Introducing the ninth beer in our Farm to Market series, a German-style lager brewed in collaboration with Zoiglhaus Brewing Co.

Zupan’s is excited to introduce the ninth beer in our Farm to Market series. Brewed in collaboration with Southeast Portland’s Zoiglhaus Brewing Co., this German-style lager is crisp & refreshing and pairs perfectly with river floats, backyard barbecues, and picnics in the park.

The Farm to Market beer series began in 2015 to celebrate Zupan’s 40th Anniversary, and throughout the years has featured exclusive bottlings created in partnership with local breweries including Coalition Brewing, Buoy Beer Co., Hopworks Urban Brewery & more.

Created with the world’s most prized German barley and hops, this brew is light orange in color and hopped with Opal, Hallertau Blanc, and Hüll-Melon. With a bit of spicy flavor, white wine notes, and aromas of honeydew melon, this easy-drinking lager pairs well with all types of summer fare.

Packaged in 12 oz, 6pack cans and available for $10.50. With only 150 cases produced, this beer will only be available for a limited time.

Profile: ABV 4.7%, IBU 22
Malts: German Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Acidulated malts
Hops: German Opal, Hallertau Blanc, Hüll-Melon

Zoiglhaus Brewing Company was established in SE Portland in 2015. The founders wanted to establish a brewery focused around community, tradition, family, and beer. Utilizing old-school German brewing techniques that Alan Taylor learned while studying Brewing Science in Berlin, Germany, Zoiglhaus brews traditional German beer styles along with the occasional Pacific Northwest influenced brews. Their 200-seat brewery features 10 rotating Zoiglhaus beers on tap along with German-style and American pub fare in Portland’s Lents neighborhood.
